Blood Alcohol Calculator
Been looking for useful resources and this one looks pretty good.
If you have friends drinking from your house, make sure to put them through this simple blood alcohol calculator (BAC) before letting them drive home. It’s an easy-to-use BAC that computes your likely blood alcohol level based on a few simple factors, including your weight and the quantity of alcohol you consumed.
Of course, this blood alcohol level calculator is meant to be more of a guide rather than exact computation. Blood alcohol, after all, can be affected by many other factors including your age, amount of food you’ve taken in, and stress levels. While the figures you’ll get from this aren’t perfect, they should prove to be decent estimates.
How it Works
1. Plug in your friends’ info: sex, weight, # of drinks, type of alcohol and the number of hours it took them to finish the drinks.
2. Click on the Calculate button and see the results at the bottom of the calculator
The results are ranged estimates. What’s more important is the warning it provides. For those that compute with blood alcohol content from .07 and above, driving is discouraged. You are also likely to be arrested for DUI if police stop you and runs you through their own tests. Do note, as well, that for some people, a .05 blood alcohol level may be enough to affect driving skills adversely.
